Introduction of Nutritional Services Department

Hameed Latif Hospital is conducting nutritional services since 2017 with a well oriented and well educated team in which we provide different services and opportunities to our students to make there nutritional knowledge strong.

Food and nutritional services department is running at Hameed Latif Hospital under eat well, the food club by qualified Nutritionists. Under this department’s supervision the patients are facilitated with Nutritionist visits and do nutritional assessment and counselling of patients regarding their medical conditions.

Meal services for three times a day are also provided along with a customised and therapeutic diet plan on discharge which patients are supposed to follow at home.

Nutritional services department is also working efficiently at the front line on COVID Floors and ICU where patients are being treated with Medical Nutrition Therapy.

Internships, short courses and various workshops are also being conducted by their qualified nutritionists for undergraduate and graduate level students or professionals.
